.I was catalysed into trying it out because of a friend’s attempts in that direction. It then took hold
2.Is there a romance author, living or dead, who inspires you particularly?
3.Please, tell us about your last book and, if you can, about your future projects.
My last publication was ‘My Dream of Madonna/An Ecstatic Rendezvous’, pub XoXo publishing. Two stories: a celebrity fantasy and a fantasy fulfillment story. My forthcoming publication will be ‘Further Explorations’, with Devine Destinies. In ‘Explorations’, to which this is a sequel, to people liberate each other with a passionate encounter. In the sequel they make a pact to take the world by jet-setting storm, always preserving their mind-bond.
4.How was your writing journey? Was it difficult to find an agent and get published?
Yes, very long and difficult. It took computerisation to get me a break.
5.What’s your opinion about this Ebook revolution? Would you consider the indie route?
I think it has broken down many barriers, and offered a lifeline to despairing manuscript writers. There is a problem in keeping with the sheer quantity of material released in this way. Having been accepted by publishers, I haven’t felt the need to ‘go Indie’ in the ebook area. I realize that masses of people have done so, and quote impressive sales figures. So far, I have had excellent reviews but poor sales.
6.Nowadays many publishers expect their authors to use Social media a lot to promote their books. Many authors, on the other hand, would prefer to write only, without being distracted by digital trivialities: what are your thoughts?
If one is prolific, and writing in great depth, one needs to concentrate, and the mechanics of promotion is indeed a ‘digital triviality’ by comparison. My impression is that many publishers are somewhat slack in this respect. Very interested to hear of others’ experience.
